Introduction
Two separate single-vehicle crashes in Queensland have resulted in the deaths of two men. One incident occurred at Machans Beach in Cairns, and the other near Charters Towers.

Incident Overview
The first crash took place around 11.30pm on Wednesday at Machans Beach in Cairns. A man driving a ute crashed into a parked car and died at the scene. His age is yet to be determined.

The second incident occurred about 12.40pm on the same day. A 46-year-old man was driving on the Flinders Highway at Homestead near Charters Towers when his vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a tree. He also died at the scene.

Emergency Response
Emergency services responded promptly to both crashes. Despite their efforts, both drivers were pronounced dead at their respective scenes.

Investigation Details
Police have launched investigations into both crashes. The circumstances surrounding why the man at Machans Beach crashed into a parked car and why the man near Charters Towers veered off the highway are currently unknown.
