Incident Overview
Two people were hospitalised following a serious three-vehicle collision on Wiley Avenue in Greenacre, in Sydney’s southwest, around 12:50 am on Sunday, June 30, 2025. One of the vehicles veered off the road and crashed into a house, rupturing both gas and water lines. All three cars suffered extensive damage. Multiple people, including three children, were involved, with most escaping injury.

- Vehicle 1 – Ute driven by a 26-year-old woman
- Vehicle 2 – Car driven by a 45-year-old man, carrying a 37-year-old female passenger and three children (aged 15, 13, and 5)
- Vehicle 3 – Car driven by a 24-year-old man
Injuries/Fatalities
- Fatality:
- No fatalities have been reported.
- Serious Injuries:
- The 26-year-old female driver of the ute suffered serious leg injuries and was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
- Other Injuries:
- The 45-year-old male driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
- The 24-year-old male driver of the third vehicle was transported to St George Hospital in a stable condition for treatment and mandatory testing.
- No Injuries:
- The 37-year-old passenger and three children in the second vehicle were not injured.
Emergency Response
Emergency services responded to the scene shortly after 12:50 am. Multiple ambulances, police, and firefighters attended. Debris was scattered across the roadway, and a ruptured gas line from the house impact required specialist attention. The individuals involved were assisted on the roadside before being transported for medical treatment.
Investigation
NSW Police are investigating the cause of the multi-vehicle crash, including:
- The sequence of impacts and road positioning of the three vehicles
- The condition and behaviour of each driver prior to the crash
- The exact mechanics that led to one vehicle crashing into a residence
Mandatory testing was conducted on the drivers involved. The investigation remains ongoing.
Community Impact
The crash, which damaged private property and ruptured utility lines, has caused concern in the Greenacre community. Residents were disturbed by the early-morning event, and the structural impact to the home is being assessed. Fortunately, no injuries were reported inside the property.
