    • Driver in his 60s — suffered a medical episode; transported to hospital in a stable condition.
    • Three additional people — treated and transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.

Emergency Response

  • Queensland Ambulance Service, police and rescue crews attended the scene.
  • Several bystanders, including tradespeople from a nearby construction site, rendered first aid before emergency crews arrived.
  • One child was airlifted directly to Queensland Children’s Hospital.
  • The second child was initially transported by road to Sunshine Coast University Hospital before being airlifted to Queensland Children’s Hospital.
