Injuries

Two of the boys sustained critical head injuries:

  • One boy was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in critical condition.
  • Another boy was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition.

A third boy sustained serious arm and shoulder injuries and is in stable condition at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Emergency Response

Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and possibly a rescue helicopter, responded to the scene.

The Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
