Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a two-vehicle crash at Kangaroo Point early this evening.

Initial investigations indicate at 6.30pm a Hyundia I30 was travelling south on Main Street when it collided with a Toyota Prius that was turning right from Baines Road.

The driver of the Toyota, a woman in her thirties, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

The driver of the Hyundai, a woman in her twenties, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with minor injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
