Police Investigation
Police allege the Ford Ranger left the roadway at the intersection, crashed through a bus stop and collided with a streetlight pole. The driver, a 31-year-old Pacific Pines man, was charged following the incident.

  • Charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, adversely affected by an intoxicating substance, drive UIL, driving of motor vehicle without a licence, possessing dangerous drugs, possess utensils or pipes, and offence to possess S4 or S8 medicines.
  • He was granted bail and is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on 29 May 2026.
