- The driver was taken to Yeppoon Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police Investigation
The crash is under investigation and police are seeking information or vision from witnesses.
- The driver was charged with eight offences including driving unlicenced, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, using plates issued for another vehicle, driving U.I.L., unlawful possession of a weapon (rifle), authority required to possess explosives (ammunition), and receiving tainted property.
- He is due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on 20 May 2026.
