Police are appealing for witnesses after a single-vehicle crash on Yeppoon Road near Limestone Creek, between Rockhampton and Yeppoon. A white Nissan Navara left the eastbound carriageway and struck a road sign.

    • 29-year-old man, from Berserker, driver — minor injuries; transported to Yeppoon Hospital

  • Police and emergency services attended after reports of the crash about 8am.
  • The driver was taken to Yeppoon Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
  • Any road closures or traffic diversions were not stated.

Police Investigation
The crash is under investigation and police are seeking information or vision from witnesses.

  • The driver was charged with eight offences including driving unlicenced, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, using plates issued for another vehicle, driving U.I.L., unlawful possession of a weapon (rifle), authority required to possess explosives (ammunition), and receiving tainted property.
  • He is due to reappear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on 20 May 2026.
