Incident Overview
An 80-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man, both from Toobanna, died in a two-vehicle collision near Ingham on Thursday, 2 July 2026.
Location and Time
The collision occurred on the Bruce Highway near Masters Road, about seven kilometres south of Ingham, at approximately 9.45am.
Vehicles Involved
The collision involved a white utility and a prime mover.
Fatalities
The 80-year-old woman, who was driving the utility, was declared deceased at the scene. Her 86-year-old passenger was declared deceased while being transported to hospital.
Other Driver
The 44-year-old South Gladstone man driving the prime mover was not physically injured and is assisting police.
