Incident Overview
A 26-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after a three-vehicle crash at Heifer Creek near West Haldon on Saturday, 8 August 2026.
Location and Time
- Date and time: Around 11.50am on Saturday, 8 August 2026.
- Location: Gatton-Clifton Road, Heifer Creek, Queensland.
Vehicles Involved
- A motorcycle.
- A caravan towed by a Volkswagen Amarok.
- A trailer towed by a Nissan Navara.
Preliminary Police Information
Police allege the motorcyclist was travelling north when he struck the caravan and then the trailer, which were being towed in the opposite direction. This is preliminary police information, not a finding of fault or legal responsibility.
Injuries
The rider, a 26-year-old man from Wilsonton, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital. Police said the Nissan driver, a 35-year-old man from Summerholm, and the Volkswagen driver, a 52-year-old man from Sinnamon Park, were not physically injured.
Police Investigation and Appeal
