The occupants of the Toyota Camry escaped with no serious injuries.

Police confirmed the Haval had been stolen from a shopping centre carpark on Hummingbird Boulevard in Tarneit on May 10, 2025 , over a week prior to the crash. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are appealing for witnesses or dashcam/CCTV footage to assist their inquiry.
