Incident Overview
Three pedestrians, including a two-year-old girl, were taken to hospital after being struck by a car at a busy intersection in Scarborough, Perth’s northwest, on Friday evening, October 17, 2025.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of West Coast Highway and Manning Street around 7:10 pm after reports that a Lexus sedan had hit three pedestrians — a 38-year-old man, a 20-year-old man, and a two-year-old girl.
The 38-year-old male pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital. The 20-year-old man suffered minor leg injuries, while the toddler was also assessed by paramedics before being taken privately to Perth Children’s Hospital for further medical attention.
The 76-year-old female driver of the Lexus was not injured and remained at the scene to assist police.
