Incident Overview

A 29-year-old Eagleby man has been charged after police alleged a stolen Ford Territory was involved in a three-vehicle crash at Calamvale on Sunday, 24 August 2026. Queensland Police said the Ford collided with a Mercedes-Benz C250 and a Volkswagen T-Roc after the driver turned onto Beaudesert Road.

Location and Time

  • Date and time: Shortly before 10 pm on Sunday, 24 August 2026.
  • Locations: Sunnybank Hills, Tallowood Way at Calamvale and Beaudesert Road at Calamvale.

Vehicles and Allegations

  • Silver Ford Territory — police allege it was stolen and was driven dangerously before the crash.
  • Silver Mercedes-Benz C250 and blue Volkswagen T-Roc — both were involved in the collision on Beaudesert Road.

Injuries and Charges

  • The Ford driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police said the drivers of the Mercedes and Volkswagen also sustained minor injuries.
  • Police charged the man with evading police, dangerous operation of a vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving without a licence and possession offences, along with alleged registration-plate, learner-driver and interlock breaches.
  • He was due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on 25 August 2026. The charges are allegations that have not been determined by a court.
