Speewah serious crash
A man suffered serious injuries after a car collided with a tree beside the Kennedy Highway at Speewah on Tuesday, 28 July 2026.
Incident Details
Police were called shortly after 1am following reports the car had been travelling east before the collision.
Injuries
The driver and sole occupant, a 34-year-old Mareeba man, was taken to Cairns Hospital with serious injuries described as not life-threatening.
Location
The incident occurred beside the Kennedy Highway at Speewah, west of Cairns.
