Incident Overview

A serious rollover crash involving a stolen vehicle occurred on Wednesday, June 17, 2025, at approximately 1:30 am on O’Herns Road in Epping, Melbourne, near the Hume Freeway.

Victoria Police initially spotted the vehicle speeding near Church Street in Whittlesea at around 1:00 am before losing sight of it. The vehicle was later tracked by the Air Wing and seen speeding near Plenty Road in South Morang before ultimately crashing.

The car came to rest on an embankment near the Hume Freeway, and all occupants were taken into police custody for further investigation.
