Police are investigating a crash between a bicycle and a car at Biloela yesterday (November 3) that has left a child with a serious head injury.

Initial information indicates shortly after 5.30pm the child on a bicycle was heading South-East along Bell street and the car was travelling along Prairie Street prior to the collision at the intersection.

The child was transported to Biloela Hospital before being air lifted to the Brisbane Childrens Hospital in a critical condition.

Police would like to speak to any witnesses and anyone who has relevant dash-cam footage.
