Crash Description
Initial investigations indicate the Ford Falcon was travelling south on Teviot Road when it entered the intersection, colliding with a Hyundai i30 turning right into Cusack Lane and a Mazda 2 travelling north on Teviot Road. The Hyundai driver suffered life-threatening injuries, while all other occupants involved sustained minor injuries.
Road and Traffic Impacts
The intersection was closed for an extended period while emergency services provided care and the Forensic Crash Unit examined the scene.
Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating, with early enquiries focusing on whether speed was a contributing factor.
