Crash Description
Preliminary investigations indicate the white Ford Falcon was travelling south along Teviot Road when it entered the intersection, colliding with a grey Hyundai i30 turning right onto Cusack Lane, and a silver Mazda 2 travelling north on Teviot Road. The impact caused significant injuries to the Hyundai’s driver, with other occupants of all vehicles sustaining minor injuries.
Road and Traffic Impacts
The crash caused significant disruption to traffic while emergency services attended and the Forensic Crash Unit began their investigation.
Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit is examining whether speed was a factor in the incident and has appealed for any witnesses or vision from the moments leading up to the collision.
