Incident Overview

  • Seriously Injured: 76-year-old Childers man (driver) – transported to Bundaberg Base Hospital in stable condition
  • Critically Injured: 70-year-old Childers woman (passenger) – airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital

Crash Description
Initial reports indicate the van rolled while travelling along Childers Road. The cause of the rollover has not yet been determined. Emergency services attended the scene promptly and coordinated hospital transport for both occupants.

Road and Traffic Impacts
No long-term road closures were reported, though traffic was likely disrupted during emergency response efforts.

Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and is appealing for public assistance.
