Shortly before 2:30am, a blue Isuzu ute with two teenage occupants collided with a power pole at the intersection of Lennon Street and McCormack Street. Both occupants—16-year-old boys from Earlville and White Rock—were transported to Cairns Hospital in serious but stable conditions. Initial investigations suggest the ute was allegedly stolen from a Trinity Park address the previous morning.
