A serious multi-vehicle traffic crash occurred on Friday night, 25 July 2025, on the Pacific Highway in Bilinga, Queensland. The collision involved three vehicles and resulted in one woman being seriously injured.

- Serious Injuries: 25-year-old Currumbin Waters woman (Hyundai passenger) – taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition
- Minor Injuries: 18-year-old NSW man (Mitsubishi driver) – taken to Gold Coast University Hospital

- 25-year-old Currumbin Waters man (Hyundai driver)
- 20-year-old Merrimac woman (Holden Commodore driver)
Crash Description
Initial investigations suggest the black Mitsubishi Lancer rear-ended the black Hyundai i20 while both were travelling southbound. Both the Mitsubishi and the Hyundai lost control and struck the side rail before coming to a stop, blocking both southbound lanes. The silver Holden Commodore was not damaged in the collision.
Road and Traffic Impacts
- Southbound lanes of the Pacific Highway were blocked as a result of the crash.
Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Witnesses/Appeals
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time to come forward.
