Incident Overview
A pregnant woman and her unborn baby have died after she was struck by a vehicle during a two-car collision at the entrance of a carpark in Hornsby on Friday night, 14 November. Police allege a silver Kia Carnival had slowed to allow the pedestrian to pass when it was rear-ended by a white BMW, causing the Kia to surge forward and hit her. The woman, who was eight months pregnant, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but died shortly after, along with her unborn child. The 19-year-old P-plate driver of the BMW has been charged.
