Incident Overview
Two police officers were injured after their patrol vehicle collided with another car and then crashed into a house in Blacktown on Tuesday, 2 December. Officers were responding under lights and sirens around 3pm when a Mitsubishi SUV allegedly turned into the path of the police car on Bungarribee Road. The patrol vehicle clipped the SUV before crashing into a nearby home. One officer suffered minor injuries, while the second officer became trapped in the vehicle and sustained arm injuries before being freed by emergency crews. The SUV driver is assisting police.
