Police are appealing for information following a serious traffic crash involving a car and an e-scooter in Morningside on Wednesday, 19 November. Initial investigations indicate a silver Toyota Corolla collided with an e-scooter at the corner of Beverly Street and Wynnum Street around 5:30pm. The e-scooter rider, an 18-year-old Norman Park man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital. The driver of the Toyota, a 49-year-old Upper Brookfield woman, was not physically injured. Investigations are ongoing.
