Incident Overview
A beloved Queensland photographer, wife, and mother has been identified as the woman killed in a tragic motorcycle crash on Ashmore Road in Bundall on Friday night, November 7, 2025.
Nadia Shevtsova, 38, was riding as part of a Halloween group ride when her motorcycle collided with two others between Chale Court and Showcase Court around 8:15 pm.
Despite the efforts of paramedics and fellow riders, Nadia died at the scene.
Her husband, Vitalii Brokhof, expressed deep gratitude to the emergency responders who comforted her in her final moments, saying:

A 20-year-old man who was riding one of the other motorcycles remains in critical condition at Gold Coast University Hospital, while a 50-year-old man suffered minor injuries.

Police Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the three-bike collision, examining:

- Speed, spacing, and visibility conditions along Ashmore Road at the time of the crash.
- Possible contributing factors such as mechanical issues, road surface conditions, or rider misjudgment.
- Helmet camera and dashcam footage from other riders in the event.
