A man has sustained life-threatening injuries following a serious traffic incident involving a pedestrian and a truck on the Logan Motorway at Kingston. Emergency services responded to the scene shortly before 1:00pm on Monday, July 21, 2025.

  • White Hino 300 Series Truck (driver cooperating with police)
  • Pedestrian (male, identity not yet released)

Injuries/Fatalities

  • Critical Injuries: Male pedestrian transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition
  • Driver of Truck: Not injured, cooperating fully with police

Emergency Response

  • Queensland Police, QAS paramedics, and FCU attended the scene
  • Crash site secured for investigation

Investigation
The Forensic Crash Unit (FCU) is investigating the following aspects:

  • Exact position and movement of the pedestrian prior to the collision
  • Speed and actions of the truck driver at the time of the crash
  • Environmental conditions on Logan Motorway at the time of impact
