Incident Overview
A 48-year-old Tewantin woman was critically injured in a three-car collision at Noosaville on Wednesday, 8 July 2026.
Location and Time
The collision occurred in the eastbound lane of Beckmans Road at about 3.20pm.
Reported Sequence
Police reported that a grey SUV struck the rear of a white hatchback, veered into the opposing lane and collided head-on with a black hatchback.
Injuries
The 48-year-old driver of the black hatchback sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical but stable condition. The other two drivers, aged 44 and 74, sustained minor injuries.
Police Investigation
Investigations into the circumstances of the collision remain ongoing.
