One man in his 50s sustained life-threatening head, hip, and leg injuries and was transported to Gladstone Hospital. Another man in his 20s with significant head and leg injuries was also taken to Gladstone Hospital. A third man in his 20s was transported to Bundaberg Hospital with head, chest, and leg injuries. Two paramedics received minor injuries and were assessed at the hospital.
Road Closure and Detours
The Bruce Highway between Gin Gin and Miriam Vale was closed in both directions due to the crash. Detours were in place, but authorities advised that the detour was not suitable for heavy vehicles.
