On Friday evening, September 27, 2024, a 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a truck on the Logan Motorway in Heathwood, Brisbane.
Details of the Crash
The crash occurred at approximately 5:10 PM on the on-ramp to the Logan Motorway from Blunder Road. The motorbike collided with a truck as it was entering the motorway. Tragically, the motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The truck driver, a 50-year-old male, was not injured.
Road Closure and Investigation
Eastbound lanes of the Logan Motorway were closed for several hours while police and paramedics attended the scene. The lanes were reopened around 8:40 PM AEST.
