Introduction
A man is in critical condition after a high-speed crash in Padstow, Sydney. The incident has triggered a manhunt for three men who fled the scene after their stolen vehicle collided with another car and burst into flames.
Crash Overview
The crash occurred on Davies Road in Padstow, a major thoroughfare connecting southern Sydney to the M5 motorway, around 10:40 PM on Sunday, August 4th, 2024. A white Audi, allegedly stolen, was seen traveling at high speed before colliding with a Nissan.
Injuries and Medical Response
The driver of the Nissan was rushed to St George Hospital in critical condition, where he continues to fight for his life. The three occupants of the Audi fled the scene on foot after the vehicle caught fire.
Investigation and Manhunt
Police have launched a manhunt for the three men who fled the scene. They are urging anyone with information, CCTV footage, or dashcam footage to come forward and assist with the investigation.
