The incident took place at the Stockleigh Road-Flynn Road intersection in South Maclean around 2 pm on Monday, September 2nd. The 60-year-old man from Advancetown was driving one of the vehicles involved in the collision. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The 39-year-old woman driving the other car and her 29-year-old female passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane for treatment.
