Introduction
A tragic incident occurred on the Pacific Motorway near Chinderah, resulting in the death of a man in his 20s. The man fell from a moving vehicle and was subsequently struck by another car. The incident has prompted an investigation by NSW Police.

The fatal incident happened at approximately 6.30pm on Wednesday. The young man, who was a passenger in a vehicle, fell onto the motorway while the car was in motion. After falling, he was struck by another vehicle.

Members of the public rushed to assist the man after the accident. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Driver’s Condition
The 27-year-old driver of the vehicle from which the man fell was breathalysed by NSW Police at the scene. He allegedly returned a positive result and later underwent a breath analysis at Tweed Heads Police Station, which showed a reading of 0.074. Consequently, he received an infringement notice for low range drink-driving and was taken to Tweed Valley Hospital for mandatory testing.

Investigation Details
NSW Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. They are appealing to anyone with relevant information or who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
