Incident Overview

A 31-year-old man has tragically died after falling from a moving vehicle in Canberra’s inner north on Monday afternoon.

Details of the Incident

ACT police and emergency services responded to reports of an incident on Anzac Parade, which borders the suburbs of Parkes and Campbell, at approximately 2:30 pm on Monday.

The man was treated by emergency services at the scene before being transported to the hospital in critical condition. He was declared dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Witnesses reported seeing the man fall from a moving vehicle traveling southbound on Anzac Parade. Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Investigation and Appeal

Both ACT Criminal Investigations and the Major Collision Team are investigating the incident. ACT Policing is urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers and quote reference number P2283066.
