The collision happened at the intersection of Laidley Plainland Road and Fernrow Drive. A man in his 40s sustained life-threatening injuries to his chest, pelvis, and head. He was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition.

A pre-teen girl suffered serious facial and knee injuries and was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital. A woman in her 30s also sustained a pelvic injury and was transported to Ipswich Hospital.
