Case Overview
A 37-year-old woman has died following a crash on the M5 motorway near Revesby, southwest Sydney, on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Shortly after 9:25 pm, a Mitsubishi SUV pulled into an emergency bay when a passenger stepped out of the vehicle and was struck by a motorcycle. The woman was treated at the scene and rushed to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition but died two days later, on September 1.

The motorbike rider, a 19-year-old man on a learner licence, was hospitalised in a serious but stable condition. He has since been arrested and charged over the incident.
