Incident Overview
Police are seeking the occupants of an allegedly stolen car involved in a single-vehicle collision at Idalia, Townsville, on Thursday, 2 July 2026.
Location and Time
The collision occurred on Lakeside Drive at about 2.50am.
Reported Sequence
Police reported that the car lost control and crashed. Its unknown occupants left before officers arrived.
Injuries
No injuries were reported.
Vehicle Theft Investigation
Investigators believe the car was stolen from an underground car park at The Strand, North Ward, between 10.30pm on 1 July and 2.50am on 2 July.
