A devastating two-vehicle Glossop crash at a Riverland intersection has tragically claimed the life of an 84-year-old man.

Glossop Crash Overview
The fatal incident occurred on Thursday afternoon before 4:15 pm at the intersection of Scott Road and Jury Road in Glossop. A Ford Falcon sedan traveling southwest on Scott Road collided with a Subaru Outback traveling southeast on Jury Road.

Fatality and Injuries
The driver of the Ford Falcon, an 84-year-old man from Cobdogla, tragically died at the scene of the Glossop crash. His passenger, an 82-year-old woman also from Cobdogla, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Glossop Crash Investigation and Road Closures
The driver of the Subaru Outback, a 21-year-old man, and his three passengers, all in their 20s, were unharmed in the crash. They are assisting police with their investigation into the Glossop crash. Road closures were temporarily in place but have since been lifted.
