Incident Overview

A six-year-old Beaudesert boy died following a two-car collision at Gleneagle on Monday, 6 July 2026.

Location and Time

The collision occurred at the intersection of the Mount Lindesay Highway and Gould Hill Road at about 2.14pm.

Reported Sequence

Police reported that a southbound sedan collided with a station wagon.

Fatality and Injuries

The six-year-old passenger was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on 10 July. The station wagon’s 56-year-old driver and a 13-year-old girl sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also transported to hospital. The 52-year-old man driving the sedan was not physically injured.

Police Investigation

Investigations remain ongoing.
