Incident Overview
A four-vehicle collision involving a truck and three cars occurred on the M4 motorway eastbound at Eastern Creek, Sydney, early on Thursday morning. One of the drivers, a 65-year-old woman, was transported to hospital following treatment at the scene. The crash caused major disruptions during peak traffic hours, with two of three eastbound lanes temporarily closed.

The crash took place at approximately 5:50 am on Thursday, June 26, 2025, along the M4 eastbound between Wallgrove Road and the M7 off-ramp in Eastern Creek, western Sydney.
Vehicles Involved
The incident involved a truck driven by a 42-year-old man and three passenger vehicles driven by a 65-year-old woman, a 25-year-old man, and a 38-year-old man.
Injuries/Fatalities
Fatality: No fatalities were reported.
Serious Injuries: The 65-year-old female driver was treated by paramedics at the scene and transported to hospital in a stable condition.
No Injuries: The truck driver and the two other male drivers did not sustain any injuries.
Emergency Response
Emergency services arrived promptly at the scene. Paramedics provided treatment to the injured woman before she was taken to hospital. Two of the three eastbound lanes were closed to allow emergency crews to manage the incident and clear the roadway. All lanes were reopened later in the morning.
Investigation
NSW Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. They are focusing on:
- The sequence of events involving the truck and three cars
- Road and traffic conditions at the time of the incident
- Any potential driver error or mechanical failure
Police have requested dashcam footage and information from motorists travelling through the area at the time of the crash to assist with the investigation.
Community Impact
The crash caused extensive traffic delays throughout Sydney’s west during the morning peak. Live Traffic Sydney reported congestion stretching back to The Northern Road and advised motorists to allow additional travel time while lanes remained closed.
