The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash in Underwood on Friday, February 16.

Initial investigations indicate a Hyundai iLoad van was travelling along Logan Road at approximately 10am when it left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver, an 80-year-old Shailer Park man, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he passed away earlier today, February 18.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to come forward.
