A man has died following a fatal single vehicle traffic crash in Toolara Forest.

Police responded to reports of a traffic crash this afternoon (April 27) around 4.40pm on Tin Can Bay Road near Laminex Road.

Initial investigations indicate the vehicle struck a tree at an unknown time yesterday (April 26).

The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was declared deceased at the scene.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it are asked to contact police.
