The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle traffic crash at Sunny Bank yesterday evening, February 13.

Preliminary investigations indicate around 7.40pm a motorcycle was travelling south on Mains Road when it collided with a Mazda SUV turning right into Elva Street.

The rider, a 34-year-old Sunnybank man, died at the scene.

The driver of the Mazda, a 19-year-old Inala man, was not physically injured.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
