Forensic Crash unit are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash in Stony Creek, January 15.

At around 10.20am, a white Toyota Corolla hatchback was traveling westbound on Daguilar Highway between Searle Road and Holmwood Road when it collided with a Kenworth b-double truck.

The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota Corolla, a 67-year-old Stafford Heights man died at the scene.

The driver of the b-double, a 66-year-old Araluen man sustained non-life threatening Injuries and was transported to Caboolture Hospital for treatment.

Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are underway.
