A 69-year-old Ipswich woman died after a white Toyota Yaris left the New England Highway and crashed into a concrete drain at Severnlea early on Sunday, 2 August 2026. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later died at Toowoomba Hospital on Monday, 3 August.
