The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating following a fatal vehicle and pedestrian crash at Rocklea this evening.

Emergency services were called to Granard Road near Beaudesert Road following reports of a man being struck by a 2014 Subaru WRX sedan.

The man was treated at the scene for critical injuries; however, he was later declared deceased.

Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, and anyone who may have information that may be able to assist is asked to come forward.
