A 43-year-old Yeppoon man has died following a single-vehicle traffic crash at Limestone Creek, Rockhampton, yesterday afternoon (November 14).

Initial investigations indicate around 1:30pm a Mitsubishi Triton was travelling east on Yeppoon Road, near Grigg Road.

The vehicle has left Yeppoon Road and struck a large tree.

The 43-year-old driver and sole occupant of the vehicle sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and are appealing to anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the white Mitsubishi Triton in the North Rockhampton (Norman Gardens) or Yeppoon Road areas around the time of the incident to come forward.
