A 30-year-old Camp Hill man has died following a single motorcycle traffic crash in Mount Gravatt East this morning.

Initial investigations indicate around 2.30am, the rider was travelling northbound along Cavendish Road near Coolong Street before striking a light pole.

The rider, a 30-year-old Camp Hill man sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam vision of the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
