The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash at Morayfield this evening (December 17).
Initial investigations indicate around 7:30pm, a 2015 Suzuki Swift hatchback collided with a 2014 Laro Pro Street 350 motorcycle at the intersection of Morayfield Road and Caboolture River Road.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 57-year-old Caboolture South woman, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The occupants of the Suzuki, the 17-year-old driver and 15-year-old passenger, sustained minor injuries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
