A woman has died and a man has been injured, following a single-vehicle crash at Monduran, north of Gin Gin, early this morning, May 24.
Initial investigations indicate around 2.40am, the B-double truck was travelling northbound on the Bruce Highway when it crashed.
A woman in her thirties, who was the only passenger, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The truck driver, a man in his fifties, was flown to Bundaberg Hospital in serious condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area around the time of the incident, is urged to contact police.
