Initial investigations indicate around 7:30pm, a Toyota RAV4 was travelling northbound along the Bruce Highway, between Feluga Rd and Midgenoo Rd, before it crashed with a southbound cyclist.
The male cyclist was declared deceased at the scene.
The occupants of the RAV4, a 17-year-old female driver and a 16-year-old male passenger, did not sustain any physical injuries.
