The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash in Keperra this morning, February 17.

Emergency services were called to Dawson Parade near Madsen Street just after 11am to reports a cyclist had been struck by a Kia Stonic.

Upon arrival, the rider, a 58-year-old Bardon man, was located with life-threatening injuries.
He was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver, a 46-year-old Keperra woman, is assisting police with investigations.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
